AI Chat Navigator runs locally in your browser. It does not collect, transmit, sell, share, or store your chat content on external servers.

Single Purpose

AI Chat Navigator helps users organize, navigate, understand, copy, and export their own conversation threads across supported AI chat platforms such as ChatGPT, Claude, DeepSeek, Grok, Perplexity, Gemini, and Qwen.

Data Collection and Storage

AI Chat Navigator handles only the data needed to provide its user-facing features.

Storage Data

The extension stores simple user preference values, such as per-site Navigator visibility. These preferences help remember whether the panel is open or closed on each supported site.

The extension does not store chat content, prompt text, response text, exported files, personal information, analytics identifiers, or tracking identifiers.

Active Tab Data

The extension interacts with the active supported chat tab when the user uses extension features, such as showing the Navigator panel, scrolling to selected messages, or starting copy/export actions. No active tab data is transmitted to external servers.

Supported Site Data

The extension reads visible page structure on supported AI chat websites so it can build local prompt outlines, response outlines, mindmaps, and export UI. All processing occurs locally in the user's browser.

Permissions Used

• storage: saves simple user preferences such as per-site Navigator visibility.
• activeTab: allows interaction with the active supported chat tab when the user clicks the extension icon or uses popup/panel features.
• scripting: injects the extension's own packaged JavaScript and CSS into an active supported chat tab when the content script is missing, such as an already-open tab after install or update. No remote code or arbitrary user code is executed.
• clipboardWrite: writes copied content to the clipboard only when the user explicitly clicks a copy action.
• host permissions: allow the extension to add its navigation sidebar, response outline, controls, export functions, and mindmap view on supported AI chat domains only.

Data Sharing

AI Chat Navigator does not share user data with external servers, third parties, advertisers, analytics providers, or other applications. All processing is performed locally in the user's browser.

Remote Code and Tracking

AI Chat Navigator does not use remote code for extension functionality. It does not include analytics, tracking pixels, advertising identifiers, or behavioral tracking.

Security

AI Chat Navigator is designed to minimize data handling. It accesses only the information needed to provide navigation, outline, mindmap, copy, and export features on supported AI chat pages.
